Day 13: Rules or No Rules

Most Definitely RULES!

We just need to be more careful about what our “rules” are.  We, also, need to be sure and not do things JUST because it’s on paper.  We must always follow “humanity” rules first.

That probably doesn’t make much sense.  Here’s an example:  Departing from there, He went into their synagogue.  And a man was there whose hand was withered. And they questioned Jesus, asking, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”—so that they might accuse Him.  And He said to them, “What man is there among you who has a sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will he not take hold of it and lift it out?  “How much more valuable then is a man than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”  Matthew 12:9-12

Makes more sense now, huh?  😉

Even in my short life, I have noticed that the more we take God out of the decision making process and rule making, the more chaotic the world is becoming.  God’s rules are basic.  If put into practice and followed, it seems things might be a bit different.
