SuperMan Cape

I threw two of these together, last night and this morning, for the boys.  The stitching isn’t the greatest, BUT it will hold.  🙂  I will work on the prettiness, later!

Two Pieces of fabric.  (Super hero of your choice, and a complementing color.

Sew three sides together INSIDE OUT.

Pull the fabric out so that it is back the correct way (with stitches on the inside).

Cut, iron, and sew the neck-tie piece.  You will also turn this outside out when you are down (so the stitches are on the inside).

Iron a hem and collar for the neck.

Sew the collar down, leaving room for the neck-tie piece to be slid through.

Use a safety pin to pull the tie through the hole.

AND

Voila!  SuperMan (or whomever YOU want) cape!
