Nut Note

Yes, we are still here.  We are nearing month six of no Daddy, and baby Evelyn is 26 weeks.

The boys are loving baby Evie. I must admit, I am a bit surprised…ha ha.  They like to feel her move, and, sometimes, they say they want her out…  We then discuss that she isn’t NEARLY ready yet.  😉

My four year old is still his same old self.  My two year old, however, has lost his mind.  He’s closer to three than two at this point, but everyone swears he’s hitting terrible two’s.  He thinks he a miniature sized boss!

Not much longer and DADDY can deal with it!  😉  lol

In case I have not informed you darling folks, I started two new business this winter.  I am now an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay and a Beach Body Coach.  Promoting a beautiful you on the inside AND out!  I love both of these companies, and I am having a blast with them.

What to Do When You Don’t Know What You Want to Do

I have a strange problem.  I want to work.   I want to do something worth while.

I am raising and growing our children, and yes, I do know the importance of that.  However, I am still not used to sitting at home.  And what about when they are all in school??

I am a L(icensed) P(ractical) N(urse).  I do have a career.  The hours of a nursing home, which is what I LOVE to do, aren’t very child friendly, though.  There’s also the fact that I haven’t worked in years, and by the time I do go back, I have no idea who MIGHT hire me….   :-/

I have thought and thought about other/possibly better choices, but I have no idea!  I do enjoy writing, but don’t even begin to know how to get that on a serious basis.  I think real estate would be fun, but I am not always a people type person…  I also have a hard time talking people into things…  You tell me no, well then, it’s no.

What else??!?  I have no idea.

I am sure this will pass… I do this once a year, or so.  🙂  I’l.l just go back to loving and enjoying my babies and growing the extra one.  We find out what it is in 11 days!  So excited!!  We discussed and revamped names today.  I am very happy with both, boy and girl, names, now.  🙂

Good Night World.  Hope to talk to you, again, soon!

What I Will Not Blog About

I will not blog about my two-year-old flipping out of the cart at Wal MArt today, AND cutting his head open.

Today’s lesson will not be:

***McCrazy Daily Lesson: Even though you know your child can understand you, it doesn’t mean he will ALWAYS listen.  He gets the bag when you ask; he puts things in the trash when you ask; he even puts his dishes on the counter for you.  None of this means that when he sees a delicious snack in the middle of an aisle, he will not launch out and over the side of the cart.  Yes, you have told him to be careful because he doesn’t want to fall and get hurt.  THIS is the one time he hears, probably even understands, but OH!  It is SOOOO worth it!!

Tie Him In!***

Have a GREAT Sunday all!!

(Yes, he is fine.  😉

Lesson of the Day

***Ask Questions***

Image

Today’s lesson is a friends lesson.

For years she has let something bother her.

Today, she mentioned it to a group of women.  These women began to explain the reality of the situation that been her concern.

There is no longer an issue.  Twelve years of wonder and worry gone.

***McCrazy Daily Lesson: Don’t’ be afraid to ask.  We need to seek the answers to our questions.***

Another Nut Moment

I was doing so well, for so long.  lol  Not doing insane things like washing my clothes in fabric softener for a month…

I ordered a carpet “washer” (that’s what it says it is) last week.  It was on sale and had free shipping from trusty, ol’ Wal-Mart, so I hit the purchase button!

YAY!!  I was SO excited!!

It arrived on the tenth…  IN MANASSAS!!!  I do not live in MANASSAS!!!

I checked today, while I was talking to online Wal-Mart, and I am not as crazy THEY may believe.  I had, in fact, entered my new address…  It just wasn’t the “preferred shipping address”.  :-/

Anyhow.  The money has been refunded, my WONDERFUL old neighbor is throwing back in the mail to go back to Wal-Mart, an dI have ordered a new maching to be sent to the CORRECT address, which is now my PREFERRED address. 😉

***McCrazy Daily Lesson:  Even though you just KNOW you entered your correct address online, PLEASE! triple check it’s the “ship to” address.  🙂 ***

Weekly Nut Note

I REALLY have to start writing down the things my 4 year old says…

He has hit the age where he says insane things ALL THE TIME.  Sometimes they make sense; sometimes they don’t make sense.   He uses the big words he hears, and they may or may not belong where he puts them.  🙂

He’s becoming quite the little comedian.  The other day he had two t-shirts on.  He pulled one off.  As he was revealing the one that was on the inside, he says, “I bring you…THIS ONE!” and points to the second shirt…  Where does he get this stuff??

The week has otherwise been quiet!  Thankfully.  They started school and soccer this week.  They loved both and have been wonderful boys!  Derek even got ALL GREEN STICKERS at school!

No house painting being done by the two-year old or anything else of that nature.  Keep your fingers crossed for a wondrous week!  😉

***McCrazy Daily Lesson:  Be thankful for the quiet.  It often precedes the storm!***

Are your kids nuts!!  Would the happenings of YOUR house drive a sane person mad??  Tell me about it!!  Would love to post here on MCCRAZY DAILY LESSON!!!  The madness can always be used to learn a lesson!

A Story

One evening a man was gathering things in, and out, of his car; getting ready for work the next day.  When the man was done, he closed his car doors and headed towards his house.  He got six steps from the car when he realized he had locked his keys in the car.  The man rushed back to his car, and sure enough, there were his keys.  They were sitting in the front passengers side of the car.

He walked around to each door, and the trunk, to double check they were locked.

Yes, they were locked.

The man began to panic.  Things were in the car that he needed for work the next day.  How would he get them out in time?

“I’ll bust the window out”, the man says aloud.

His wife had been standing there, by the car, thinking.  She was trying to figure out how to get them out.  “Calm down and let’s think about this before you go breaking windows”, she said.

“I’ll do what I have to to get my stuff out for work.  I need that stuff”, her husband replied.

“Call a locksmith.  It may be a bit more expensive, this time of the evening, but at least you’d have your keys AND all your windows”, she said next.

As her husband began to search for a locksmith to call, the wife began checking windows.   The car was a little older.  She herself had locked her keys in a car when she was younger.  Before she could say anything, the man asked her if they had a clothes hanger in the house.

“Now we’re thinking!”,  she thought.

She went and got the clothes hanger.  The man and his wife spoke about how to proceed next and the man went to work trying to pop the lock with the hanger.

While they were out there, a neighbor stopped by.  The neighbor and wife chatted a bit.

Then, that’s when it happened.

A car drove by.  It was a new neighbor.  He waved.  Everyone waved back.

The new neighbor parked at his house and yelled down the group standing by the car, “did you lock your keys in the car?”

“Yes!”, said the wife.

Within a couple minutes the new neighbor was coming down the road with a kit designed, specifically, to get into cars.  What are the chances?!?!?

Within five minutes, after that, the door was open and the keys were out.  No broken anything.
