If ever you get the chance to help with an event such as Vacation Bible School, DO IT!  It was a blast!  it was a lot of work, but ten times more fun!!!

After our Thursday night concert,

we had one more day of fun.  🙂

The kids had a blast, and so did we!  It was an AWESOME experience that I will definitely be repeating next year (if they’ll have me!).  LOVE THE KIDS!!!

The Sunday following the conclusion of VBS my babies were baptized!!

I am one PROUD Momma, and I am feeling SO much better having gotten it done before Daddy leaves!  :-/  They were such great boys during the baptism!!

It is almost time for Daddy to leave and everything is falling into place.  This week I will sell my Dad’s house.  Obviously, this is not something I want to do, but it is something that needs to be done.  I am at peace with it, and, again, glad it will be completed prior to my husband leaving.  God’s grace is amazing.  I am getting better and better at watching for the signs and letting God lead me.  Man!  Life is SO much less stressful when He leads!!  I’ve had a blast the past couple of weeks!  I am feeling very blessed.

Psalm 143:10 ~Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground

VBS: Days Two and Three

Friends and Family help us….STAND STRONG!

ImageImage

Day two game props; a LOT of teamwork used on day two!  Learning to lean on each other and help each other in times of need and EVERYDAY!!

Thessalonians 5:11 ~ Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

Prayer helps us…STAND STRONG!

During prayer God listens to EVERYTHING we say, but in return we must also listen to Him!  Today we played games to practice our listening skills…  😉

Philippians 4:6 ~ Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Derek is having a blast.  He is remembering to STAND STRONG!  We dropped off our food for the mission today.  Gold Kingdom won the day!!!  YAY GOLD KINGDOM!

He really enjoys VBS, and here’s the kicker!  HE IS BEING GOOD!!!  I have asked multiple people and EVERYONE says he is GREAT!  They don’t have to speak to him at ALL about what he is doing.  WOOHOO!!!!    If you know us personally and you know my child, you know he gets a little excitable and is usually the child that needs “talked to”.  I am one proud Momma!!!

Looking forward to the program tomorrow night.  🙂  Little cuties EVERYWHERE!!!

***McCrazy Daily Lesson: Enjoy the day and what you are doing.  Help others.  Anytime we are not sure how to go about these things we should PRAY!***

Day One Kingdom Rock VBS: Survived!

Image

The kids are all great; all in their own little ways.  😉

We had a blast!!  The games move fast, and they are very exciting!!

I have GREAT helpers, as well.  It makes it tons less stressful when my helpers can run and fetch things while I get the kids going…

THANKS GUYS!!!  It was a GREAT first day!!!

God is going to do GREAT things this week!!

***McCrazy Daily Lesson: Let Him take the wheel and just enjoy the ride!***

THIS is why I have been missing from my BLOG!  Oh, how I have missed you all!!  I simply couldn’t WAIT to share the weeks accomplishments with you!

I am not going to quit the blogging challenge (though I have certainly failed…lol).  I will pick up on the days I can.

The upcoming week is VBS week, SO…busy again!!  😉  I should have a LITTLE more time, though.  🙂  I am in charge of elementary games, so WISH ME LUCK/PRAY!  I was terrified of the idea when I started this journey, but I WANTED to do it.  Here we are!! D-DAy!!!  I know God will help me teach these kiddos!!

I can not wait to get started and share, with you, the greatness!!!

See you, again, soon!!  🙂

Day One Bible School Verse:

Psalm 23:

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.  He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.  Even though I walk
through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.  You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.  Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Day 30: This Month’s Achievement

There have been many achievement’s this month.

One is having completed this challenge.  I missed only two days.  I had hoped to make them up, but having been in the middle of no where, with VERY limited internet, I feel like I did the best I could!  😉  I have enjoyed it VERY much, and I would encourage others to try out July’s challenge!  It gives a more diverse topic selection, and it brings in loads of new views and followers.

Having to write about something new each day has forced me outside of my usual comfort zone, and it has prompted me investigate subjects that I was unsure of.  It has been a great learning experience that I am grateful for!

Outside of the world of writing, I must say today was a big achievement.  I am DEFINITELY one of those “I’ll write it here but am WAAAY too shy to say it out loud” people.  I have been struggling with this my whole life.  I have been working on getting past this for the past few years.

In May, I was baptized, and my husband and I joined our church.  I was petrified standing in front of the church.

Today, we had VBS (vacation Bible school) training.  I am in charge of elementary school games (which scares me all by itself).  I was supposed to do a game demonstration.  EEK!

Well, I DID IT!!  I did not completely freak out or freeze.  It probably wasn’t my BEST performance, but the 20-30 people in there were, by far, my largest audience EVER.  And I got through it without turning bright red!!!!!

YAY ME!!!

THIS is a HUGE accomplishment for me!  I am, now, not terrified of VBS, anymore!!

June has been a GREAT month.  I am looking forward to seeing what July will bring next!

***McCrazy Daily Lesson: We must break out of our shells!  Once we are out, we must STAY OUT!!!  There’s a WHOLE world out there waiting for us!!***
